  Great place for a quick bite of seafood and some really good oysters, shucked right in front of you. They sell beer by the bottle and soda by the can. Barb, the waitress, will probably give you a hard time, but it's her thing; grow a skin and learn to take a joke, because you'll have a few coming your way, especially when she's on her game. She's a good gal, though, as is all the staff here.
  
  Be aware that this place is a small dive bar and cannot accommodate many large groups. The handful of high tops can seat about 8.

  Went to the hole in the wall yesterday, was treated like dirt. There is no customer service here whatsoever. The waitress never came over to us to check even after trying to get her attention. It wasn't until another table told her we were trying to get her attention that she finally came over, only to give us some attitude when I returned the "oyster stew". I love oysters and I am not a picky eater, but was served a bowl of pure yellow butter with oysters in it. When I told the waitress I was returning the "stew" because I could not eat it, she argued with me and said "that is oyster stew, what do you think oyster stew is". I calmly let her know that oyster stew is not a bowl of butter. By this time, the butter had congealed on the surface of the stew. The table that was nice enough to let her know we needed the waitress watched this unprofessional interaction and commented with a "wow!" It was embarrassing for the waitress as well as the restaurant. She took the "stew" away in a huff and of course did not offer to get us anything else. Did not take our check we had to use another server. I highly recommended going to another restaurant in Apalachicola.

  The food is great (real local seafood). The grouper is great both fryer and grilled. The seafood gumbo is great. I will be going back. This is a place that is real old school Panhandle Florida food. The folks are real not plastic. Great place for the cost . A real must visit.
